ZeroW Brisbane respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
ZeroW Brisbane is a powerlifting and strength training gym at 203 Lutwyche Rd, Windsor QLD 4030, operated by ZeroW Brisbane Pty Ltd (ABN 54 650 851 219). In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to ZeroW Brisbane; "you" refers to anyone who visits this website, contacts us, signs up to an offer or competition, or uses our facilities.
ZeroW Brisbane is part of the ZeroW network. Each ZeroW gym is independently operated and responsible for the information it collects.
2. What information we collect

- Locally stored preferences, such as your light/dark theme choice and your cookie choice. These stay in your browser.

If you pay online, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see, handle, or store your card details. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded, along with a reference used for support and reconciliation.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:

- Run safety checks (e.g. emergency contact details for comp days);
- Understand how the website is used and measure whether our advertising works;
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- Improve the website, fix bugs, and protect against abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share information with
We share your information only where necessary to run the business. Depending on the page you use, we rely on these providers:
- Supabase: secure database hosting for form submissions and competition entries.
- ClubFit: gym membership management (only when you sign up to a paid membership).
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): customer management for some offer sign-ups, used to send follow-up emails and SMS.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: transactional email delivery (confirmations and notifications).
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: spam protection on our forms.
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram): the Meta Pixel, which measures visits and enquiries that come from our ads.
- Google: Google Ads conversion measurement on some pages, and embedded Google Maps and YouTube videos.
Each provider has its own privacy practices. We choose providers we believe meet a reasonable standard of security and compliance.
We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, or to protect our rights, our members, or the safety of any person.
5. Where information is stored & how it's secured
Form submissions and competition entries are stored in our Supabase database, hosted in the Asia-Pacific (Sydney) region. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to the admin dashboard is limited to authenticated ZeroW Brisbane staff via password-protected logins.
Several of our providers, including Meta, Google, Stripe, Resend, Netlify, Cloudflare and GoHighLevel, are based in or store data in the United States and other countries. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You can request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies, analytics & tracking
When you first visit, a banner explains that we use advertising cookies. These run unless you choose Decline. If you decline, we switch them off and remember your choice for 12 months across all zerow.com.au websites. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.
The cookies and similar technologies we use are:
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel, and Google Ads on some pages, which record when a visit or enquiry came from one of our ads. Switched off if you decline.
- Essential: a cookie that remembers your cookie choice, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from spam. These are needed for the site to work and are not used for advertising.
- Embedded content: maps, videos, and booking or sign-up forms from providers such as Google, YouTube, ClubFit, GoHighLevel and Stripe may set their own cookies when they load.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Google accounts.
7. Your rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you;
- Request that we correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- Request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal or operational obligations to retain it;
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails and SMS at any time;
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email brisbane@zerow.com.au. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days). If you believe we have not adequately addressed your concern, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
8. Children & under-18s
Personal gym memberships are for adults aged 18 and over. Under-18s may take part in our Junior Development program and in supervised events with a parent or guardian's consent.
Junior Development enquiries are made by a parent or guardian, who gives us their own contact details along with the young person's name and preferred session. We use this only to arrange the program and to contact the parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page; please check back periodically.
